Jérémy Gagnon

Jérémy Gagnon is a screenwriter and director with a degree in film from Concordia University. Dividing his time between Saguenay and Montreal, his stories follow a common pattern, using roads and landscapes as a backdrop for human dramas. Gagnon’s films are characterized by a nostalgic gaze, a captivating rhythm, and the use of analog media such as 16mm film to immerse us in his universe where dreams and reality merge. Pique-nique (2025) is his first foray into comedy, while continuing to address the working class in remote regions.
