Yu Yu
Yu Yu is a Taiwan-based stop-motion animation director. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in animation from the University of Southern California, and her graduation film, Daisy, won the Silver Award at the 45th Student Academy Awards. As the founder and director of Shadow Steps Studio, Yu Yu continues to create stop-motion commercials and animated short films. Her short film The Island of Us (2022) was selected by notable film festivals worldwide, including BIAF, PÖFF Shorts, Foyle Film Festival, and Drama International Short Film Festival.
