Pranay Noel

Pranay Noel is a budding “swiss-army-knife” Canadian filmmaker with a BFA and an MFA in film production from York University. Inspired by social realists such as Mike Leigh, the Dardennes, Kelly Reichardt, and the Safdies, his character-driven narratives deliver strong sociopolitical criticism packaged in fast-paced filmmaking. He works directly within the communities he represents on screen, and his independent production style often sees him wear multiple hats that include acting, editing, scoring, and producing.
